Three new condo developments to watch
At VPG Realty, we’re continuously researching the latest condo developments on the North Shore, Vancouver and beyond. Gaining access to new developments is one of the many perks of working with our expert real estate team.
This multi-family development in West Vancouver by British Pacific Properties answers the question: what can downsizers who want to stay in their community do once they sell their palatial home?
The 14-unit condo complex will be part of the Mulgrave Park community. With floor space ranging from approximately 2,300 to 4,200 square feet, the units are spacious enough to invoke the feeling of a single-family home in an area that doesn’t traditionally offer attached homes.
Who’s likely to call The Peak home?
Likely downsizers who already live on the North Shore – maybe even in the beautiful British Properties – and are ready to let go of their single-family home and settle into the next stage of life in a contemporary, sophisticated setting that still feels spacious.
Situated in the heart of the village, Connaught is a new multi-family residential project that is already drawing attention from buyers who are fiercely loyal to the beloved North Shore community. The project, by developer Grosvenor Americas, is an 82-unit mixed residential development with two- and three-bedroom condos and townhomes. With few multi-family offerings in the neighbourhood, the all-concrete development has been wildly popular with buyers.
Who’s likely to call Connaught home?
People in their late 20s and early 30s who are coming back with their young families to invest in the community they grew up in. But, as with many condo developments on the North Shore, downsizing Baby Boomers are also looking at Connaught as a way to live in a community that meets most of their needs on foot, in a charming village setting.
Bosa-built The Residences was designed with the lush natural setting in mind – in particular, the breathtaking North Shore mountains and nearby trails. The project includes one-bedroom condos to three-bedroom units with dens, and townhomes, ranging in size from 963 square feet to just over 1,700. The six low-rise buildings will have 320 units total with a variety of heights. The project is a source of pride for company founder, Nat Bosa, who, according to reports, views The Residences as a legacy project.
Who’s likely to call The Residences home?
The sheer number and variety of unit types means The Residences has broad appeal for a range of buyers – everything from first-time homebuyers to downsizers from Vancouver, Lynn Valley and other North Vancouver neighbourhoods.
